You can delete your account in the ComicSwap app (developed by Alberto Rodríguez Vázquez) and the data linked to it whenever you want. This page explains how to do it, what exactly is deleted and how long it takes.
This cannot be undone. When you delete your account you will lose your recorded collection, your wish list, your conversations and your ratings. We will not be able to recover them afterwards. If you only want to stop receiving alerts, you can turn off notifications in the app's settings without deleting anything.
Option 1: from the app
- Open ComicSwap and log in.
- Go to Perfil → Privacidad y cuenta → Eliminar cuenta (Profile → Privacy and account → Delete account).
- Type ELIMINAR in the confirmation box and press the button.
The account is deleted at that very moment, without you having to write to us.
Option 2: by email
If you have uninstalled the app, cannot access your account or would rather do it in writing, write to us at:
soporte@comicswap.app
Send the message from the same email address you signed up with, so that we can check the account is yours, and put "Delete account" in the subject line. You do not need to reinstall the app or give us any other data.
We will confirm receipt and delete the account within a maximum of 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and your login credentials.
- Your email address, your username and your profile picture.
- Your whole collection and your wish list.
- The copies you had published for sale or swap, which stop being visible immediately.
- Your expressions of interest, matches and chat conversations, including those with ComicBot.
- The ratings you had received and your points balance.
- Your device's notification token.
What is kept, for how long and why

Messages you had sent to another user may remain visible in that person's inbox, in the same way as an email already sent. They will appear linked to a deleted account, without your name or your profile.
Before deleting: download your collection
If you want to keep a record of your collection, download it first from the app itself: Perfil → Importar y exportar → Exportar desde ComicSwap (Profile → Import and export → Export from ComicSwap), where you can get your collection and your wish list as CSV files. If you no longer have access to the app, ask us for a copy by writing to soporte@comicswap.app before requesting deletion, and we will send it to you free of charge.
